All of them when you adjust the road and use taxes and look at only the

cost of gas.
Then do you and John Kerry support "adjusting" the road and use taxes, to
bring the cost of gasoline down?

Now go play rightwing idiot somewhere else.

No need for him to do that, when we already have YOU playing leftwing idiot
HERE.

IT would do a lot. The blended gasolines are causing the lack of imports of
gasoline. No one is goig to send a ship load of one blend of gasoline which
cannot be sold anyplace else. Secretary Arbrahams hinted that they might relax
the blended rule and futures in gasoline droped a lot. The government is owned
by the oil interest. You have to ask yourself how is it good to have special
blends of gasoline which reduces the miles per gallon that a car gets. In New
Jersey on can expect to lose up to 15 percent in MPG when they put the summer
stock in the gas statoins.

Couple of problems:
1) it wouldn't knock 30 cents off the price
2) gas formulated for Florida would freeze up in northern Maine in the
winter

AFAIK, the formulations have everything to do with environmental
regulations and nothing to do with climate differences. I think a
single formulation would work nationwide. Right now we just have a
patchwork of solutions in place to help meet pollution requirements.
It COULD reduce the price quite a bit. Right now, there is very little
competition among refineries. Each one produces the formulation
required in its area. You can't sell it elsewhere because other place
require different formulae. Make one formulation (or at least reduce
the number greatly) and a real free market develops which will reduce
prices.

I believe both issues affect gasoline formulations.
If we went to less formulations, we'd probably have to work with
what would work in the crowded, higher-air-pollution-risk areas.

*****. The formulation reduces miles per gallon. If you eliminated the
formulated gas you probably would have cleaner air to breath. The formulation
is only more government regulations to help the oil companies. It kills
imported gasoline. Noone is going to make a product that has not market except
were the government creates it.
