He didn't apologise. He said he 'regretted' the misunderstanding of his
words, which were perfectly just and incidentally, true.
To prove that Islam is not violent meanwhile, a group of Muslims in the
UK led by Anjum Chowdray has said that he should be put to death.
Oh dear

the Pope is hardly qualified to call Islam a violent religion. It is
like the pot calling the kettle black.

Having said this, I am of the strong opinion that there is nothing for
the Pope to apologize with regard to his recent statement about
Muhammad and Islam. The Pope was just stating the obvious, which is
"the Emperor has no clothes".

One has to only glean through the Koran to know that this was no
original work of Mohammed or his God. It is a simple case of
plagiarism on Mohammed's part. He just copied parts of The Torah and
the Bible and called it his holy book Koran. Because the Jews had
taken away Saturday and the Christians the Sunday for their Sabbath,
Mohammed decided he will be one step ahead of the pack by declaring his
Sabbath on Friday. Just a few examples of Mohammed and his God's
creativity I guess. If Mohammed lived in today's world he would at
the very least be booked for copy right infringement.

The Pope is quite correct in saying that the only new thing Mohammed
brought to the table was the idea of spreading his so called faith at
the edge of a sword. The spread of Islam in India during the Shameful
Millennium is just a good example of this. The way Islam was spread in
the Balkans is another example of what the Pope expressed.

Let us all get this point right - the Pope is not discussing a man
who lived and preached by a moral code. He is discussing someone who
called himself a prophet of God, but had no second thoughts about
murdering a wealthy Jewish merchant in Mecca so he could marry the
man's widowed wife and enjoy the wealth she inherited from her
deceased husband. Here was a man who had no second thoughts about
having sex with a five year old girl. This is no Jesus Christ, Mahatma
Gandhi or Nelson Mandela we are discussing about.

These are not figments of my imagination. Just read the Koran or about
the life of this so called prophet and you will know. The Pope is
pretty much on the mark on his comments about Islam and I see no reason
for him to apologize.

This should be some kind of a joke.
To prove the point that Islam is a religion of Peace and Tolerance,
Muslims burn six churches in Gaza, murder a 70 year old Nun (who
dedicated her life to serving the most destitute in their societies)
and now want to behead the Pope, conquer Rome, spill the blood of all
non Muslims and take home as war bounty the money and those poor souls
who escaped their swords.
Some Peace Loving & Tolerant faith! Yeh! Thank heavens I was born an
infidel.
