I just read that 16% of our manufacturing jobs have been
exported
since Bush took office. In other words, the unemployment
rate
in
manufacturing is around 16%. Or maybe more - I'm not sure
how
the
export of manufacturing jobs mixes in with the 6% overall

True.
wheat,
Eh? Not even close. The largest global producer (and importer!)
of
wheat is China, with typical yearly production of 100-125
million
tons. The EU grows about 100 million tons, Russia grows about 80
million tons, India grows about 70 million tons, then the US at
about
60 million tons. We tend to measure in bushels, so our 60
million
tons
comes out to about 2 billion bushels, much of it sold to China.
You mean the "king", China, has to buy its wheat from us, the
country
you
claim is "not king"?
duh, yeah, Babs, they have the largest portion of the world
populace.
They
can produce more wheat than the US and still not have enough wheat
to
feed
all of the mouths in their country.

American
Wheat Farmer continues to sell them his wheat
Or... maybe they'd just eat more rice and we'd eat more bread.
Why don't they do that now?? Why instead are they forced to buy wheat
from
the American Farmer??
Because they don't have to???? Geesh. How dense can you get?
As for us, our sneaker costs would certainly rise if China stopped
selling
them to us, but I doubt that would make us starve to death.
I won't, but you might. I'll beat you eat cheap vinyl for dinner.
And I beat you look forward to having sex with your sister again after
dinner tonight.....
1) I don't have a sister. 2) No thanks to your offer of a beating... I'm not
into women, perverts, idiots, or masochism. 3) I have sex with my husband...
maybe you should try it.
