Reagan a Racist?? |
I keep hearing some democrats say how racists Reagan was. I dont get it
because I have seen several films as well as a few documentories done in the
1950's whereas Reagan narrated or starred in anti racists films. One film
comes to mind is where he narrates the evils of the KKK in an anti klan
documentary. Another is a film about black racism in which he fight against
bigotry. These were done in the 1950's which was a very unpopular thing to
do back then when Jim Crow was alive and well. yet he took Reagan took a
stand against it. So I dont get the racist allegations. I have never had a
problem with Reagan, now Bush on the other hand is a complete idiot.

Reagan refused to meet with black leaders in the WH, "because they supported
Democrats"
I don't think Reagan hated black folks, he probably just reflected his time
