Rumsfeld sharpens attacks on U.S. war critics

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Aug 29 (Reuters) - U.S. Defense Secretary Donald
Rumsfeld turned up the heat on critics of U.S. policy in Iraq and the
war on terrorism in a speech on Tuesday recalling the world leaders who
sought to appease Nazi Germany in the 1930s.

Rumsfeld is ignorant of history and just who the real "Nazi" appeasers
and sympathizers were.
It appears to me that Rumsfeld is using fascist propaganda to attack and
demonize his political opponents hoping that ignorance and deception
will be his allies.
I challenge Rumsfeld and his supporters to PROVE that Iraq had WMD, ties
to 9/11 and was assisting bin Laden or al Qaeda. I also challenge them
to prove that U.S. national security has been improved, not harmed by
their spending of billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars (over 300 billion so
far) and thousands of American's lives in Iraq.
