Bush is snooping into your bank records without a warrant

Let me guess: it was too hard to get a search warrant?

Whatever.
The Republicans have destroyed our country,
killed our troops,
spat upon the Constitution and the founding principles of our
democracy,
and now they're violating our bank records privacy too.
And we're supposed to be surprised?
These people have no respect for democracy,
for civil rights,
for civil liberties,
for blacks,
for women,
for gays,
for Latinos,
for Muslims,
for democracy and for any Christian religion other than hate-filled
Baptists.
Republicans have become petty thugs who do whatever they please
because it feels good, to hell with the law.
This isn't the America we fight wars for.
It's the America we fight wars to avoid becoming.

"Counterterrorism officials have examined banking transactions involving
thousands of Americans without warrants or subpoenas, officials say."
Thousands?!? That's nothing.
This is not so bad compared to usual FinCEN requirements. The federal
government requires everyone handling cash such as banks, casinos,
jewelers, brokers to "know" their clients and inspect their transactions
for the purposes of uncovering money laundering and terrorism. If you spot
anything suspicious, you report them, without he client's knowledge, to
FinCEN. If you don't spot anything suspicious and report nothing, your
company gets fines in the millions. Yep, you find suspicious activity with
that threat over your head.
I know, I know, these are not federal employees constantly looking through
your accounts, but they might as well be.

The IRS (part of the US government) can not only look at your bank
records without a warrant but they can actually seize your money.
