WH: bin Laden Capture "A Success That Hasn't Occured Yet"
By Justin Rood
Five years after the Sept. 11 attacks, Osama bin Laden is still at
large -- but that's not a failure of White House policy, says Frances
Fragos Townsend.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0612/28/sitroom.03.html
As she explained to CNN's White House correspondent Ed Henry last
night:
HENRY:
You know, going back to September 2001, the president said, dead or
alive, we're going to get him. Still don't have him. I know you are
saying there's successes on the war on terror, and there have been.
That's a failure.
TOWNSEND:
Well, I'm not sure -- it's a success that hasn't occurred yet. I don't
know that I view that as a failure.

Well that really sums up W's presidency doesn't it? He's a "success that
hasn't occurred yet."
It's not surprising that more Americans rank him as a "villain" than Osama
bin Laden or Saddam Hussein. This administration's Orwellian-style abuse of
language is only surprassed by its abuse of the laws.
(And I'm not claiming Orwell abused language. Far from it. But he showed
how it could be done in "1984.")

It's just as stupid as when bush told the press that Iraq was a catastrophic
success.
And, republican dummies agree with them. They are an American disgrace.

Yeah. Nice spin. Can we ever get a straight answer from anyone?
"Yeah, I didn't fail to win the lottery and boink Traci Lords, it is a
success that hasn't occurred yet."
