Cheney Gets Ovation From Wyo. Lawmakers
By BEN NEARY, Associated Press Writer
Cheyenne, Wyo. (AP) --
Vice President ***** Cheney returned to his home state Friday, getting
a standing ovation from lawmakers shortly after the lawyer he
accidentally shot made his first public comments about Saturday's
hunting trip.
"I want to thank you for that welcome home," Cheney told the Wyoming
lawmakers.

One wonders what kind of greeting they'd have given Tricky Dicky if
the guy had died.
