All the political newsgroups are being inundated by spam from paid
Republican operatives.
Credible cite please
Several of the more prolific posters (ie Harry Hope, Gandalf) are on
your side
Their strategy, as always, is to give the appearance
of a ground-swell of support for their party, when in fact, it is the
same
few people posting again and again under a variety of handles.
There are extremes on both sides
There is no honesty to their tactics; there is little honesty in their
party.
Like the "honesty" associated with making unsupported claims?

In an earlier post, you took this same position denying that Republican
Party operatives had any involvement in the 2000 Florida recount protests,
even though it is a matter of record that several such operatives took part
in the protests that effectively stopped some of the counts.
You have a faulty memory.
I never denied that GOP members were part of the protests.
I took exception with your claim that the protests stopped the
recounts, and cited the evidence supporting my claim.

"BUCKLEY: We wanted to ask you, wanted to ask you first of all, sir,
the -- some people are suggesting that you and other members of the
canvassing board were in some way intimidated by the protests that
took place on Wednesday. To what extent were you influenced by those
protests?
LEAHY: I was not intimidated. My vote to suspend the hand tally of the
votes in Miami-Dade County had nothing to do with the protest. It
simply had to do with not enough time or logistical support to
complete the hand recount by the deadline set by the state supreme
court.
Now you're denying the flood of posts in these newsgroups by a handfull of
Republican activists, who are likely party operatives.
Which party does "Harry Hope" support? Which party does "Gandalf"
support. Which party does "Abel Malcom" support? Which party does
CWHIte support"?

One of the networks
did a piece about the Republican war room during the Democratic convention;
those guys were busy finding ways to flood the media with the party message.
"Dem 'rapid response team' gears upThe Associated Press
Updated: 4:38 p.m. ET Aug. 28, 2004NEW YORK - A Democratic "rapid
response team" is in New York, eager to remind Americans of the many
domestic problems President Bush and his administration have not
solved, Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack says.
Vilsack is helping Democratic national Chairman Terry McAuliffe run
the effort to get the Democratic message out during the Republican
National Convention that begins Monday at Madison Square Garden.
Democrats hope the Iowa governor can provide the perspective of voters
in the heartland.

You were saying something about "war rooms" again?
Work on you memory a bit

I leave you this item from an earlier bit of banter: Here's an interesting
little slip indicating the organization behind the
Republican posts:
