Rice changing her tune the night before the game |
http://www.kotv.com/main/home/stories.asp?whichpage=1&id=60454
Excerpt from this story:
"Rice won't seek to specifically counter Clarke's charges that the
administration, and Rice in particular, did not consider al-Qaida an urgent
priority before the attacks."
Excuse me, but has she not been vehemently countering Clarke's charges on
every TV and radio show in the country for the last month? So now, when she
is to go under oath, she "won't seek to" do the same?
And is it Rice's prerogative to "choose" not to counter Clarke's charges
while under oath?
We'll see tomorrow. It's doubtful that the commission will ask her
questions that put her in the position of FORCING her to either counter
Clarke's charges or admit that she was lying. Doubtful, because this is
looking more and more like a whitewash cover-up.

She CAN'T deny Clarke's claims under oath. That would be perjury.
There is documentation supporting Clarke and Rice cannot dispute
written records from before 9/11. All she can do is try to contradict
his 'opinions', but she can't dispute the facts.
By the way, it was just reported that Condi has been 'preparing' for
her testimony for the last several days; her staff asks her questions
and then critiques her responses. If a person is only going to go in
and tell the truth, why would they need to practice for days prior to
testimony?

Need to get the wording exactly right so the Leftist media can't spin
it.

Hey Liberal wake up Doc Rice is going to pull an Ollie North on you and all
you liberal friends.
(In case you are to young to remember Ollie North was supposed to testify
against Ronnie Regan in front of the cameras but instead testified against
the democrats and thru a pie in their face.) Can you say Iran Contra?

Obviously you were too young to remember. Reagan hated what Oli North
said about him. They were a bunch of crooks, Reagan included. Bush is worse
than Nixon and Reagan put together. The basement boys are back in the White
House.

We can only hope. What Ollie North actually did was rat out his superiors.

Rice will testify to help America find a way to prevent another 9/11.
She will NOT use the time for a slanted political cheap shot nor to
sell books.

She "slants political cheap shots" elsewhere, and the book is coming
next year!
