Its unfortunate it has come to this but given the Abortion Any Time
For Any Reason Exemptions insisted upon by the left, this was
inevitable. Roe v Wade is bad law and sooner or later this would
have bitten it in the *****. I happen to believe that the physical
health of the mother trumps the interests of a foetus up to
viability irrespective of what happens to Roe v Wade. If Roe is
struck down what you will not have is the lunacy that allows
minors to have abortions without parental notification and abortion
will for that purpose be treated as any other medical procedure.
If a state wishes to allow 3rd trimester abortions on demand that
I guess would be within the state's power however that would make
it a local issue and maybe subject to limits.
Face it folks most Americans look on abortion as an evil that is
sometimes a necessity. Sending Roe v Wade to the scrap heap would
go someway to ensuring gummint and the people see eye to eye on the
subject again.

*****, *****. One State bans what is a necessity to some women and you
go into a fucking tirade about "most Americans". It's a dead horse,
*****. Rape, incest, abusive spouse, abusive parents.
The only people against abortions are catholics who are simpletons who
worship Rome and Jesus H. Bush, anyway.
Ectopic pregnancy, preeclampsia, liver failure, etc., etc. It
constantly amazes me how few men bother to learn about the massive
stress a pregnancy places on a woman's body.
As far as incest goes, do you remember anything about genetics? There
are some very good reasons why close relatives should not have children
together.
As far as any other reason, well, let's face it. You're a man. You
have no concept of what a pregnancy does to a woman's life, and it's
not your place to determine when an abortion is "necessary."
My personal feeling is that if you haven't had the abortion in the
first month or two, you should let the pregnancy continue unless there
are health risks. However, I firmly believe that a woman's body is
under her control, and SHE is the one who should be making decisions
about it. Not me, not you, not the stinking government.

Most Americans believe abortion is a necessary evil.
Unavoidable in some instances but to be discouraged.
When Roe v Wade goes the question will be put back
where it belongs in the political arena and some balance
will be restored.
And you wonder why this situation has arisen.
What an idiot.

The only people against abortions are catholics who are simpletons who
worship Rome and Jesus H. Bush, anyway.

Not I. Me glow very bright Orange.

Ectopic pregnancy, preeclampsia, liver failure, etc., etc. It
constantly amazes me how few men bother to learn about the massive
stress a pregnancy places on a woman's body.

All of which would I hope qualify as events which would justify
terminating a pregnancy. What won't continue is abortion for
convenience whenever on demand.

As far as incest goes, do you remember anything about genetics? There
are some very good reasons why close relatives should not have
children together.

And I don't recall saying otherwise. Why is this such a concenr for
you. Is your family tree perhaps like unto a flagpole?

As far as any other reason, well, let's face it. You're a man. You
have no concept of what a pregnancy does to a woman's life, and it's
not your place to determine when an abortion is "necessary."

Lost a friend to complications of pregnancy and seem a near
tragedy due to an ectopic pregnancy.

My personal feeling is that if you haven't had the abortion in the
first month or two, you should let the pregnancy continue unless there
are health risks. However, I firmly believe that a woman's body is
under her control, and SHE is the one who should be making decisions

Well in the first trimester that may be true. At some point the
Stinkin' gummint does have an interest. Terminating viable pregnancies
absent physical danger to the mother should be carefully considered
and only allowed under rare circumstnaces.

PS: alt.fan.air-america nonexistent. Big surprise....
