Novak: Scandal-plagued Lewis will retire.
“Republican sources on Capitol Hill and in California say Rep. Jerry
Lewis, ranking Republican on the House Appropriations Committee who
has been criticized on ethical grounds, will not seek a 16th term next
year.”
