One Day, One Theme, Three Republicans:
It seems that almost the entire Republican leadership in the House of
Representative is under scrutiny these days.
The Sunlight Foundation, a watchdog group, is questioning whether the
$2 million profit House Speaker J. Dennis Hastert (R-IL) made on real
estate deals was partly the result of highway funding that Hastert

Hastert earmarked $207 million in federal dollars for the proposed
Prairie Parkway near his property before he sold his interest.
Hastert is trying to bury the story.
His attorney threatened legal action against Sunlight for the story it
posted on its Web site about the deals.
In a complete disregard for simple economics, Hastert spokesman Ron
Bonjean rejected the notion that the land rose in value because of the
highway project.
Majority Leader John A. Boehner (R-OH) is being questioned about
$2,700 he allegedly made playing slot during a visit to the Kewadin
Manistique Casino in Michigan.

Federal investigators have now subpoenaed Highland, San Bernardino,
Riversider Counties, the cities of Redlands, Loma Linda, Twentynine
Palms, and Yucca Valley, as well as the Cal State San Bernardino
Foundation as part of their investigation of U.S. Representative Jerry
Lewis's (R-CA) relationship with high-powered Washington lobbyist and
former U.S. Representative William D. "Bill" Lowery (R-CA).

should talk the same language.

Yeah the FBI got ***** for raiding Jefferson's office by people on both sides
for some shite about seperation of powers.
