Everyone seemed to get all excited again over the announcement in Beijing
that the notoriously unstable government of
North Korea had expressed it's readiness to discuss initial steps of it's
nuclear disarmament. Instead of generating a chorus of yawns, the forever
hopeful 6 nation diplomatic corps was, once again, raising their hopes for
the first tangible progress at international talks on Pyongyang's atomic
weapons program since they began the hot air discussions more than three
years ago.
Someone ought to remind these boys they have been there before, and done
that before, and every time, the NOKO nut cases have squelched all the talks
with example after example of bad behavior.
