Senator Richard Lugar Threatens Possible U.S. Intervention In Palestine |
Yesterday on national TV, ranking Republican Senator
Richard Lugar of Indiana seemed to be hinting that
all Palestinian terrorist organizations, Hammas, Fatah, the
Martyr's brigades, Islamic Jihad and Hezbelloh (which is
Iranian but threatens Israel from Lebanon) will have to be
taken out by the U.S. in order for the peace process to work.
It is true that much turmoil and violence in the area could
be eliminated if these organizations were smashed, but why must
the U.S. military have to do it when it can be easily accomplished
by Israel. Lugar should go to the U.S. State Department and have
Congress and President Bush demand that
State stop favoring the Muslims at Israel's expense.
If the U.S. gave Ariel Sharon and the Israelis the green light,
these terrorist organizations could be totally annihilated within a
matter of days. And the murderous, terrorist thug Arafat, whom the
U.S. State Department has been protecting, could be captured and put on
trial as a war criminal.
It is just clownishness on the part of the U.S. and Israel that this
charade in Palestine has not been ended years ago.

True, all true, but I wonder why anyone would have much
concern for the "road map" anyway. The Palestinians were busily
helping their Arab buddies try to erase Israel when the Arab armies
massed on Israels' border in 1967, and as far as I'm concerned, if you
misuse it, you lose it. I don't give a damn if the Israelis NEVER give
back the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and frankly I would think them
stupid for doing so, although I don't believe they will. I certainly
hope they don't, for their sake. The Arabs don't want that land for
the Palestinians' sakes anyway; the only reason they want it is
because it would make another war with Israel less costly, since
Israels' borders are greatly shrunk by virtue of the occupation. I
don't care that the UN says it's "illegal" either, personally. Who the
***** elected them?

Is that what he was saying? From what I read in the papers, he was
saying something else.

'Cause they won't crush the Israeli settlers.

If they stopped giving Israel all that money, the state of Israel would
collapse in about 2 weeks.
And the murderous, terrorist thug Arafat, whom the
