Space Shuttle Columbia. Ronald Reagan's NASA knew that bird was not safe to fly, yet sent it up anyway. |
Yeah, Good Ol' Ronnie Raygun just had to beat those communists in
Russia at every turn. Even if it DID mean sending up a faulty space
shuttle. Which DID happen and which DID end up with the deaths of the
7 astronauts.
Christa McAuliffe's last word to her hubby - "honey, you feed the kids...
I'll feed the fish!"

Actually, the engineers of the booster warned NASA several times about
the temperature limitation and they chose to play Russian roulette with
them. The booster seals had come within 5 seconds of burning through in
the past and it was ignored. Reagan had nothing to do with it. NASA
trying to keep its' funding flowing did.

Yeah, but it still happened on Ronald Reagan's watch. That makes him
totally responsible.

Yeah, we can all tell you really care. When liberals are hurting, they tell
disgusting sick jokes.

Maybe you should dig him up and yell at him. Or maybe you should realize
that the space shuttle isn't "safe". It's still a science experiment. And the
most dangerous leg of the trip is the first couple minutes after it leaves the
ground. That's why the Mission Control room bursts into applause every time.
I don't know why I'm bothering to try to educate you fools, tho. You think
the Columbia crashed during Reagan's 'watch' when he was 92 and in the throes
of Altzheimers in 2003 when it happened.
Psst! McAuliffe flew on the Challenger, oh clueless ones.

The only place Al Gore conserves energy these days is on the treadmill. I
don't want to suggest that Al's getting big, but the last time I saw him on TV
I thought, "That reminds me -- we have to do something about saving the polar
bears."
Never mind his carbon footprint -- have you seen the size of Al Gore's regular
footprint lately? It's almost as deep as Janet Reno's.

Well, a lot of people assert (and correctly) that 'tis YOU that is the
flaming idiot Jim. And, yes, Ronnie was involved on Skytrain2 (that
is what you call a shuttle that falls apart while aloft) because,
dammit, we just hadda bring those evil Russians to heel!
I have ascertained, from reading some of your "works", that you fancy
yourself an intellectual AND have that notion that "my country, right
or wrong". Well, pal, they are MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE!
I am glad I could edify/educate/enlighten you today, for you so do
need it!
