Storms - Acts of God or Satan |
The devil has insurance companies and others buying into the belief
that storm damage is to be regarded as an "act of God." However,
consider the following passage...
Luke 8:22-25
"22Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with
his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other
side of the lake. And they launched forth. 23 But as they sailed he
fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they
were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. 24 And they came to him,
and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and
rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and
there was a calm. 25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And
they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man
is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey
him."
If God is the power behind storms, why did God send a storm against
HIS OWN boat? Why, later, did God sent a storm that would CRASH
Paul's boat, while he was on God's mission. So, we see the the storms
were really the work of "the prince of the power of the air" (Eph.
2:2), Satan.
So, why does God allow it? Why should God protect one rebellious
being from another? Why should the King of the Kingdom of God use his
resources to protect a rebel? Think about it.

Of course, if you're going to tag the "Prince of the Air" with
every destructive act of weather that comes down the jet
stream, then you're also going to have to give him credit
for all the aspects of weather -- such as the blessed
summer monsoons out where I live -- which allow life
to be here in the first place.
Without prevailing winds, Hadley and Ferrel Cells, and all
the other phenomena of atmospheric energy transfe and mass
transfer, all of the continents would be like the Atacama Desert,
inhabitable by a few species of heterotrophic bacteria.
Whaddya think?

If "God" doesn't protect someone then he's not loving.
If "God" can't protect someone then he's not omnipotent.
If "God" doesn't know someone is in trouble then he's not omniscient.
There is no "God" nor "Satan". These are the fantasies of idiots from
a long time ago.
Life is like a pinball machine. There are many basic rules but no
grand consciousness.

God will destroy this wicked nation and send all these satanic fucks
to hell, and you have no insurance that will cover eternal damnation
and torture in hell.
Non-christians are all scum, let's face it, there is no point to
their dreary, pathetic insect like-lives.

Even, more so, his statement makes human beings out to be Gods. After
all, merely by choosing to become a Christian, they create a human
being out of scum %^)

Well, apparently "his resources" are finite, and so God has
to perform some hard-headed cosmic triage.

That is a term of law. Just as with "mother nature", it is a figure
of speech. Language doesn't follow your rules. Live with it.
