Soldier Aboard C-130 Killed, Another Dies in Rocket Attack

WASHINGTON --
Two U.S. soldiers were killed today in Iraq, coalition military
officials in Baghdad announced.
A coalition C-130 Hercules transport aircraft leaving Baghdad
International Airport about 5 p.m. was hit by small-arms fire, Army
Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt, Multinational Force Iraq deputy operations
director, said in a written statement issued by the coalition press
office.
A soldier aboard the aircraft was wounded.
The aircraft returned to the airport.
The soldier received medical treatment, but later died.
The C-130 was not significantly damaged, Kimmitt's statement said.
Another soldier was killed in a rocket attack two hours earlier at a
coalition base in Baghdad, the press office announced.
The names of both soldiers are being withheld until their families are
notified.

Let's be frank, men. The liberals in these groups have no guts. They
would not have had the guts to fly fighter planes. That is certain.
President Bush flew the Convair F-102A Delta Dagger. This is one of
the airplanes flown by Chuck Yager as well. This one would require
the "right stuff" and a lot of it. But you pacifist pansies don't
have the guts for this.

You can't say that about the rightards in the newsgroup.
President Bush flew the Convair F-102A Delta Dagger. This is one of
the airplanes flown by Chuck Yager as well. This one would require
the "right stuff" and a lot of it. But you pacifist pansies don't
have the guts for this.
Yeah, Bush did such a fine job of scoring a 25% on his pilot's aptitude
test.
Yeah, Bush did such a fine job of learning to fly a plane which had been
decommissioned for combat use during the war.
Yeah, Bush did such a fine job of protecting Texas from the Viet Cong
after failing to take a mandatory physical and having his flying
privileges suspended.
Yeah, Bush did such a fine job of flying after going AWOL.

Good point, Tempest. I wonder what branch of the
military "James E. Morrow" served in, if any.
Flying fighter planes requires good eyesight, not guts.
If you are near-sighted, you will NOT become an AF pilot,
no matter how much "guts" you have.
Enough of my ranting, now you chickenhawks can go back
to worshipping GWB.
