Two U.S. Soldiers Killed in Central Iraq
The Associated Press
A roadside bomb killed two U.S. soldiers and injured three in central
Iraq, the U.S. command said Sunday.
The patrol with Task Force Liberty was hit Saturday evening in the
city of Samarra, about 60 miles north of Baghdad, the U.S. military
said in a statement.
All the soldiers were transported to a coalition medical facility
where two of them died from wounds sustained in the attack, the
statement said.
