MNC-I Soldiers attacked
13th SC(E), LSA ANACONDA PAO
LSA ANACONDA, Iraq
One Multi-National Coaltion-Iraq Soldier was killed and one
was wounded in an improvised explosive device attack against their
Heavy Expanded-Mobility Tactical Truck near Haditha at 12:30 p.m. May
13.
The wounded Soldier was evacuated to a nearby military medical
treatment facility.

Task Force Lightning Soldiers attacked
Multi-National Division North PAO
TIKRIT, Iraq
One Task Force Lightning Soldier died of wounds sustained in an
explosion near the units patrol in Salah Ad Din Province May 13.
One other Soldier was also wounded in the attack and was taken to a
Coalition medical treatment facility for futher care.

The monthly U.S. death toll through May 13 is 45
