Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO
BAGHDAD —
While conducting a combat security patrol in the western section of
the Iraqi capital, one Multi-National Division-Baghdad Soldier was
killed and four others were wounded when an improvised explosive
device detonated May 26.
Two Soldiers have been returned to duty.

Task Force Lightning Soldiers attacked
Multinational Division – North PAO
TIKRIT, Iraq –
A Task Force Lightning Soldier was killed when an explosion occurred
near his vehicle while conducting operations in Diyala Province,
Saturday.
Two other Soldiers were also wounded in the incident and were taken to
a Coalition Forces medical treatment facility.

The monthly U.S. death toll through May 26 is 103
3,454 American troops are dead, 25,570 have been wounded, over
655,000 innocent Iraqis are dead and wounded
