When Kerry and the Dems refer to the Balanced Budget Amendment as if they
made it happen and they deserve the credit it burns me up because my Mom had
been giving donations to Republican congressman since the late 1970's trying
to push that Balanced Budget Amendment into law. It was being blocked by
the spend thrift Democrats in the key committees all through the 1980's.
Finally we were able to get a ground swell of support for it in the early
1990's and Clinton was actually against its passage until he saw that it was
politically expedient to support it. Then the S.O.B. wanted to hang that
feather in his cap.

There's a scripture in the Bible that says something like 'Anything can
sound correct until somebody comes along and sets the record straight.'
Well, that's precisely what I have just done so spread the word about the
glory grabbing Democrats.
