Object: The Bush Purges: Rummy beheaded, Rover next?
The speculation, after Bush Bird's pretty transparent "flopping fish"
press conference after the election, is that Karl Rove will now get
the Rummy treatment from Bush for failing him in the mid-terms. On
McLaughlin this week, Eleanor Clift, Larry O'Donnell and McLaughlin
himself seem to be in agreement that Rove's going to find his head in
his "out" basket soon. Of course the two rightards, paleoconservative
Pat Buchanan and ***** blowhard/delusional Tony Blankley ("The Moonie
Times") say "no way."
What do you think? Will Rove be #2 on the "Crawford Payback" hit
list? Arguments for Rove's sacking are pretty convincing...failed at
the Social Security disaster, failed at the tax cut disaster, and now,
lost the Congress, with the House maybe gone for two decades. That
"joke" about Rover at the "flopping fish" press conference told it
all. People who know Bush BIrd know that when he makes a "joke" like
that, someone's ***** is really in a sling...and Rover's appears to be
in that position right now.
One thing's for sure....Karl Rove's brand of politics, the politics of
hatred, suspicion and fear, will never see another national election
for quite some time. If they try it again in '08, they'll lose even
MORE seats in the Senate AND House...which they might do anyway!

BTW, Rove didn't invent this style of politics. It's been around since
the days of Alexander Hamilton and it won't be gone anytime soon.
The Cons will be using it again in '08 because it's served them well.
They will need another ***** burning before they knock it off.

There is a rumor tht Rove orchestrated this Democrat win. His view is that
the American people need to be reminded what a Democrat lead govrernment is
all about every decoade or so. The thought is to lose now in order to retain
the Whitehouse in 08 figuring that will give Americans enough time to really
get a belly full of Democrats again in time for the next presidential
election.
