From CNN's main page...
"the labor force -- defined by the Labor Department as people either working
or
actively looking for work -- shrank by 309,000 people, possibly including
thousands of workers who simply gave up looking for work in a weak market."
How
convenient, reduce the denominator to shrink the unemployment percentage. It
is
an outrage that the analysts are not ripping this to shreds as it is clearly
overt crap that even even one of my kids could ask, do the people that stop
looking just disappear? How come they're not included? Amazing a 12 year old
kid can figure it out yet analysts are dumbfounded... The real unemployment
rate is well over 10%
Why should people not looking for work be counted?
