The Founders deeply distrusted Democracy |
The Founders deeply distrusted Democracy!
Does our pledge of allegiance to the flag say to
‘the democracy for which it stands,’ or does it say to
‘the Republic for which it stands’?
Do we sing
‘The Battle Hymn of the Democracy’ or
‘The Battle Hymn of the Republic’?
The Founders deeply distrusted Democracy!
“Remember, Democracy never lasts long. It soon
wastes, exhausts and murders itself. There was never
a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”
- John Adams
“Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the
difference is like that between order and chaos.”
- Chief Justice John Marshall
“When the Constitution was framed,” wrote historian Charles Beard,
“NO respectable person called himself or herself a Democrat.”
The Founders deeply distrusted Democracy!
We often hear the claim that our nation is a Democracy.
But, that wasn’t the vision of the founders. They saw
Democracy as another form of tyranny.
The founders intended, and laid out the ground rules for,
our Nation to be a Republic.
The Founders deeply distrusted Democracy!
The word Democracy appears nowhere in the Declaration
of Independence or the Constitution.
The Constitution guarantees
“to every State in this Union a REPUBLICAN form of
government.”
The Founders deeply distrusted Democracy!

Isaiah 32:
5. The vile person shall be no more called liberal,
nor the churl said to be bountiful.
6. For the vile person will speak villany, and his
heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy,
and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty
the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of
the thirsty to fail.
7. The instruments also of the churl are evil:
he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor
with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
8. But the liberal deviseth liberal things;
and by liberal things shall he stand.

When you don't attribute, it's called plagiarism.

The founders were privileged white men. Rich, aristocrats. They
wanted a republic because they didn't trust the power of democracy to
the ordinary people.
Today, that would be red staters who voted for Bush. Too ignorant to
be given the vote.

Don't kid yourself this is a war.
The Founders never imagined that the SMAG's (Secular Militants
against God) and the ELW's (Extremist Liberal Weirdo's) would
start a war on Christians and Christianity. If any of them were alive
today they would be the first to speak up.
Jefferson, despite what the Lib's like to claim, was not a SMAG or
a ELW. Nor were the other founders.
