The IBM Selectic II typewriter |
One of the best selling typewriters in use in the sixties and seventies
was the IBM Selectric II, an incredible machine. Most typewriters used a
hammer type mechanism to print. It used a unique rotating metal ball that
had all of the letters on it. The use of the ball allowed for more
characters than the old style typewriters. The typewriter type out in
proportional spacing and superscript characters.
These are the excuses used to suggest that the documents are forged. In
other words--- the docs are real.
