The Imus hysteria should be brought to an end.
He has apologized numerous times for his offensive remarks and the students
forgiven he offended have accepted his apology and forgiven him.
"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never harm me!"
The black racial problem was serious because offensive whites were beating
up and even killing blacks. They were being regularly punished by being
denied a good education, jobs and medical care.
This ended decades ago. It is time to move on.

What Imus said was wrong and he is an arrogant man. However who is
Sharpton to have the balls to ask for anyones resignation? He falsely
accused people of raping Tawana Brawley, riding on her coat tails to
get recognition, not caring who he hurt along the way. He is a racist
himself. When the truth came out , Sharpton didn't apologize to
anyone. He cost taxpayers lots of money with investigations and
everything else connected to that debacle. His actions caused more
anomosity between black and white than this Imus crap could ever do.
He is a s--t stirrer himself! He is no better than Imus.
