I know that George W. Bush caused the high number of storms we see this
year
(including Katrina) through global warming. However, I learned today
that
the current record for named storms was 21 in 1933.
The obvious conclusion is that Bush has a time machine, and is using it
to
cause global warming in 1933, and that's pretty damn scary.
It is an old and very tired ploy to take a fact, grossly exaggerate it and
then laugh at how false it must be. No one has ever claimed that W Bush
created and directed Katrina or any other storm. What they have stated is
that an increase of more severe storms is part of global warming and Bush
has actively worked against any improvement of the situation. I believe
Bush's statement about the global warming is that people should adapt and
wear sunglasses. I'm sure the people of the Gulf really want sunglasses
right now more than anything.

So were the 1933 storms due to global warming or not?
