Things are getting tense. The rumors reaching us are enough to stagger
the imagination. It appears the sheeple, in their unwisdom, have
elected the most anti-gun governor in Colorado history. The rumor has
it that there are already stacks of bills going to the legislature which
would:
Make "safe storage" mandatory
Make semi-auto rifles illegal for hunting
Create a state-wide "assault weapons" ban, and one of the most
comprehensive every dreamed up
Make the simple fact your neighbor sees you loading guns into your car
cause for a warrantless raid on your home
According to what I heard of Ritter's latest radio appearance, he wants
to pattern Colorado's gun laws after the wonderful firearm-friendly land
of fruits and nuts, California.
Monday, December 11, at 7 PM on Channel 12 Denver television, the Aaron
Harbor show, Ritter is to be the guest and will take calls. Please,
those of you who can get this show, call, and ask him about these things
and get him on record. Will someone please tape the show, as well? We
want him on the record, yea or nay, on these rumors. Also, those
gunnies in the state who vote independent or Democrat, please call your
state senator or write him/her, and demand these sorts of anti-gun bills
be voted down. Tell them we elected them to be moderates, not wild-eyed
anti-gun lefties. The future of Colorado's hunting and shooting sports
may be on the line.
