The pendulum swing |
This government is stuck in the dumbest cycle in the history of
governments. We swing back and forth from Liberals to Conservatives. We
will swing back and forth in all three branches of the government, not
just the executive branch. The reasoning for this is simple. Humans, as
a race, is a bunch of dumbass morons that can't tell the difference
between a red dwarf and a white dwarf. We will run to Conservatives for
the promise if a good life now. Tax cuts and a trickle down theory so
they can give tax cuts to the rich and in return keep getting money
from them. The trickle down theory is the most ***** I've heard
about taxes. The rich will keep the money and the poor still won't get
money. The country will slowly get ruined and soon people will go to
Liberals and try and save the country from destruction. The Liberals
will take the extreme and we will live in a state of little money and
the country will slowly get out of debt. The next generation will be
tired of living with little money and will go Conservative. They will
want a better life now and not a better life eventually. But the
country will go deeper in debt(since the Liberals couldn't get all the
way out of debt) while the people live in luxury then their children
will go to liberals to try and undo what their parents did. We will
swing like this the liberals never able to undo what the conservatives
did and the conservatives bringing us deeper into debt. The government
will screw the american citizens over while getting exactly what we
want.

You are correct. Liberals, in the name of helping everybody, will do a
little of that but also make the government too big. But they do have
a habit of appointing monetarists to be Fed Chairman, and they like to
balance the budget, which is good for the country.
Conservatives, OTOH, will run up the deficits, neglect the country in
general for the benefit of a few wealthy people, expand the power of
the police and military, and will allow a variety of white collar
crimes and acts of treason to go unpunished. The will also allow
corporations to become more powerful and let them trample on the rights
of ordinary citizens.
Neither side works. But the liberals at least try to do what is in the
best interests of all citizens. The liberal policy of less regressive
taxation helps to balance the budget, but it is never applied long
enough to make the national debt smaller.

The liberals try and do the best for the citizens of the not to distant
future while the ones today have to try and make up for the countries
deficit. The conservatives will promise to make it better for people
today. Sadly enough that works on Americans.
