Object: The Politics of War
Some have condemned the GOP claiming they are using war as a political
election year tool. One has to wonder what the DNC would be
campaigning on if the war were to be over. It has become a large
staple of every DNC election strategy to blame the debt, the jobs, and
everything else under the sun to "Bush's war."
A clear cut example showing the war as being an election year tool by
the DNC is to ask what they are or were doing about it in a
non-election year. When pressed on it, most will say they would to
basically the same thing Bush is doing...only better. Right now, in a
non-election year for most of congress, what are they doing about the
war...nothing.
It's hypocrisy for either side to use the war as a reason to get
elected. It's time to stop blaming each side for the results and start
coming up with ideas to fix things...together.

I think the Democrats will have plenty on top of the war for no reason
to slam the Republicans. I would say just the sheer number of indicted
and jailed "family values" Republicans is fodder for the Democrats.
Now if they will just use that.
