Today's mainstream media is only interested in
(1) swaying voters to the liberal side. This is why they treat terrorists as "heroes", insurgents, and freedom fighters. The media cannot even bear to call the terrorists "terrorists". The media doesn't care if they alienate or discard 50% of their viewers/readers with their extreme one-sidedness. This is real smart business decision making as the New York Times prepares to lay off 1000 employees.
(2) Dramatization. Every house fire or traffic accident becomes "breaking news". This is why
Patsy Ramsey was put through the wringer. The media wanted a suspect and would do anything to
get one.
(3) Today's media is a danger to society. Treason, fudging, plagerism, and forgery is performed on a regular basis by the media as we have seen over and over again - Thank God for the bloggers.
(4) INTERNET IS THE ONLY GOOD NEWS SOURCE IN THIS COUNTRY: To get complete and important news coverage you need to go to the internet. The media is tabloid trash, more interested in Couric, Barbara Walters, and the Dan Rather sendoff than in presenting unbiased and comprehensive news coverage.
