Object: The yr 2012 in a post religion world...
The end of church state separation:
The year is 2012, and religion has been separated from government
completely.
A fictional news brief...
"A bomb as exploded in a state Capital building by a terrorist country.
The President and the US Congress leaders were visiting. Several
senators and the Democrat VP were injured. Seeking medical attention,
the first to seek medical attention came into a serious delimma. All
of the hospitals nearby are run by religious groups. Due to the
Separation From Religion Act, none of the injured government employees
can receive religious funds or treatment, placing the nearest
non-religious medical treatment an extra hour away. Several officials
are not expected to survive..."

So send `em to Walter Reed.

Walter Reed is on the base closings list, and won't be around by 2012.
They'll have to go to Bethesda Naval Medical Center.
Of course, more likely they would just take them to the National
Hospital Center or any of the other non-religious hospitals in the
district, which has a surfeit of hospital bed space (except for the
mentally ill).

No where does it say in our constitution that school must be separated
from God.
Our entire legal system is structured from Bible law
The homosexual secular pervert movement is the root behind Government
bashing of religion
That is why private and Christian school enrollment is skyrocketing
And Government school enrollment is declining

Right there in the first amendment. Maybe you should read it.

Our entire legal system is structured from Bible law

Nope. Lie. Example?

The homosexual secular pervert movement is the root behind Government
bashing of religion

If you represent religion (and you don't), it deserves bashing.

That is why private and Christian school enrollment is skyrocketing
And Government school enrollment is declining.

Wrong again.

Well, I certainly don't need examples of your "entire legal system". Just -
say - 25 examples.
Or mebbe just 18.
Or ten - yeah - "ten" should be /very/ easy.
And the local Wal*Mart is open on Satun-day and Sun-day.

The homosexual secular pervert movement is the root behind Government
bashing of religion

Citations, if you would be so kind.

That is why private and Christian school enrollment is skyrocketing

Not around here.

And Government school enrollment is declining

Not around here.

Really now?
Then how come there's no law keeping me from cutting my lawn on
the Sabbath?
How come there's not a statute forbidding me to have a picture of
the Buddha on my wall?
How come there's nothing to forbid me sassing my parents?
And why is there no legislation saying that I cannot worship
Kirshna insted of Yaweh?
Why could I lie to you on this group, if I so chose, without fear of
legal consequence?
How come I could loudly and publicly covet my neighbor's *****,
with no legal repercussions, if "Our entire legal system is
structured from Bible law"?

Nowhere does it permit school to be connected to God.

Our entire legal system is structured from Bible law

Baloney. There is NO aspect of our legal system structured from Bible
law. Not even the ten commandments are especially relevant - most of
the stuff forbidden in the commandments is legal, and the only
exceptions: murder and theft, are forbidden in every non-Christian
society as well.

The homosexual secular pervert movement is the root behind Government
bashing of religion

Government doesn't bash religion. It just isn't allowed to support it
either.

That is why private and Christian school enrollment is skyrocketing

It isn't. Private school enrollment is growing more slowly than the
population.

And Government school enrollment is declining

It isn't. Public school enrollment in burgeoning.
Public enrollment Private
1985 39.4 million 5.6 million
1990 41.2 million 5.2 million
1995 44.8 million 5.7 million
2000 47.2 million 6.2 million
2002 48.2 million 6.4 million
(last year with final data)
net change 1985-2002 public +22%
private +14%
At the high school level, private enrollment is almost exactly what it
was in 1985 - the increases have come almost entirely in the lower
grades.

Check it out with The First Prophet (Nehemiah Scudder).
If Mr Clifton wants to make up laws, the reports on Nehemiah Scudder can be
used in exactly the same way(s).
And - remembering that the separation of church and state was first
formulated by Jesus Christ - the Inquisitions were/are a just really good
reason to avoid the merger of the two.
Being sentenced to death by the state and being stoned to death for crimes
such as heresy means you'd better make sure that the state/church accepts you
as a member.
And, because the state/religious hierarchy is in communion with g(G)od, there
is no need for jury trials - or any other kind of trials. Or elections. Or
different "laws" for church and state.
And we know that the accused are guilty or they wouldn't have been arrested.
