Object: These "anti-war protests"
CNN ( "Communist News Network" ) is propagandizing some anti-war
protests in various cities around the world, on the 3 year
anniversary of our invasion of Iraq.
But they show street level footage of what appeared to be about
50 protesters, and didn't state their numbers, so as to up-play
them, and would only say "the biggest protests were held in Paris
and...", still without giving actual numbers. Did Paris have 200
versus 60 in NYC?
They seem to be trying to compare them to the Vietnam days, as
usual. And as usual they are socialist and communist-inspired,
and include the "peace at any cost" pacifist religious sects from
this country, like the Quakers. But during the Vietnam war I seem
to remember rallies of half a million protesters. Big
difference.
It also explains why more people are watching Fox News than CNN,
because we feel like we're constantly being fed a stream of
socialist propaganda instead of news.

As with CBS and the BBC, CNN has also fallen for the lie that "MOST"
Americans/Brits oppose the war in Iraq and ultimately against the global war
on terror. When will they (the leftist media) realise the opposite is in
fact true and that the anti-war campaigners are very much the minority
viewpoint?
The deluded left should have realised when the so called "unpopular"
president won a second term, and despite all the spin and the negative
campaigning the predicted Democrat victory never transpired. The American
people spoke loud and clear when it mattered, on election day. Sadly for CNN
they choose to believe in their own anti-Bush propaganda and not the word on
the street. Negative polling teqniques to perpetuate a lie is ultimately
counter productive for the anti-Bush, leftist media. when will they learn?
Unlike CNN, (and despite false perceptions) Fox News, at least gives a fair
& balanced view that most Americans associate with. Those who subscribe to
Michael Moore type politics will never get it. Yes watch "Outfoxed" and
"Fahrenheit 9/11" and keep deluding yourself..Keep believing the lie that
"Bush is a liar" "Bush is an idiot" "Bush is Hiltler" "the War is illegal"
and so on..Numbers don't lie, and the leftist media would be advised to get
a reality check & grow up before it's all too late.

A million marched in London before the war even started. Watching
pro-Murdoch propaganda won't get you anywhere if you don't balance it
with CNN.
Just listen to the BBC on-line radio, and find out what's really going
on....

Over three milion marched at the start of the war, and it's even more
unpopular now. These people are just lying republiclowns.

Of course. That's the parallel universe they inhabit.

Funny how anything that disagrees with what you THINK is "Communist" or
"Socialist"

Yeah but that's kind of an apples & oranges comparison. Back in
Vietnam the G was grabbing anyone & everyone of draft age. Hell they
even tried to grab 'ol Georgie Boy before Pappy Bush pulled a few
strings & got junior in to the Texas Air National Guard (for which he
did a flawless & stupendous service defending his country! TEN-HUT! At
ease!)
I mean now its basically a merc force. You got guys signing up for the
check & maybe college. What's the difference between the guys in there
now & some warlord's private army somewhere, earning food & a check
for going after the opposing warlord's private army? You tell me,
cause I don't see it.
I'm surprised the Repubs just don't take the next step & open the
military to illegals here who want citizenship after doing 4 years in
Iraq. I mean think about it, you drop the wages big time, those guys
will work for peanuts an hour. No need to offer 'em education or
college cause most of them can't read in the first place. They're just
cannon fodder anyway, roadside IED fodder to protect the high ranking
enlisted guys.
Anyway, you get my drift. The Repubs would save the U.S. taxpayers a
lot of dough if they just put recruitment stations along the border
with Mexico down there, get them to sign their lives away for pennies
on the dollar, boot camp 'em & ship 'em off to be blasted to
smithereens hahaha http://tinyurl.com/jszdm ;-)

When the military is used in non-libertarian ways, that's what it
is.
We should pull all our military home from all over the world and
ONLY defend the U.S., plus end all foreign aid, and THEN no one
would want to attack us.

Good idea actually, but why would they have to if the government
allows open borders now and they can just walk in here and stay?
