They are called 'The Searchers'. But what are they looking for?
Tony Blair's hopes of finding WMD lie with the Iraq Survey Group.
But, report Raymond Whitaker and Glen Rangwala, they don't appear to
have much to do and have even less to report

Some 1,400 British and American experts are supposedly scouring Iraq
to prove what Tony Blair and George Bush claimed before the war - that
Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction which posed an imminent
threat to the world.
But most of the Iraq Survey Group, the body created by the victorious
coalition to replace the UN weapons inspectors, is not even in Iraq at
the moment.
And only a small fraction of the ISG is actually assigned to looking
for WMD.
The site inspections group, known to colleagues as "the searchers",
has 200 personnel, but that includes back-up staff, translators and
drivers.
Even the searchers do very little work on visiting suspect sites.
"That was what the 75th Expeditionary Force were doing, and they don't
need to replay that task," said a source in Baghdad.
Another joked: "They have spent their time doing their laundry and
napping."

I don't see any sign of that. So far, all the Patriot Act does is
extend the access of criminal investigations into terrorist
investigations.

For the benefit of the new guy here's the scoop.
We could have waited .
Saddam had no W.M.D. and no ability to make any.
We sold him all that he ever had.
It's all been gone for years.
He had no Nuclear ambition.
He had no reasonable way to get people or things to Our side of the
ocean without all that sattelite and air coverage seeing it hapening.
He had no ties to al-queda. His government met with their
representatives only twice , Nothing concrete came of it because
Hussein apparently doen't like or support religious fanatics.
He had no intention of taking on America again after being thouroughly
trounced in 1991.
And Most of all for George, Saddam had no real defences.
He was a sitting duck.
The treason is on the side of George Bush who made up ALL of the
reasons that we were to go to war against Iraq.
He lied to Congress saying that Iraq was involved in 9/11 in an
official document to be found ,

He now says that he never said Iraq was an immediate threat or that
they were involved in 9/11 .
Saddams Iraq was a sitting duck that was simply demonised by Bush to
provide a reason to invade to steal Iraqs oil and ship it by pipeline
to Israel.
However there is the little matter of his saying to Congress all of
the things we now know that he lied about.
Iraq was not a threat to America but George Bush Is.
George Bush has squandered the trasury to provide Billions for his
cronies.
He is awash in corruption of every discription.
For my money George Bush is behind 9/11 also because he didn't know
exactly when it was that he first learned of the attacks
All of the rest of the World Does know where they were when They
first heard of it.
Think of where You were , I bet there is No doubt at all. But George
told something that couldn't have been true about when he learned
about it.
The only reason that George didn;t know is that he forgot to make up
his story in time .
Bush actually knew the attacks were coming long before that day.
He is the traitor , And you are too as long as you support Bush.
