Two Soldiers Killed in Attacks in Northern Iraq
BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
Two U.S. soldiers were killed in action in separate attacks in the
northern Iraqi cities of Samarra and Mosul in the last 24 hours, a
U.S. army spokesman said on Thursday.
He gave no other details.
It was not clear whether the deaths had already been included in the
Pentagon's toll, which rose by eight on Wednesday.
According to that toll, at least 93 U.S. soldiers have been killed in
combat in Iraq so far in April.
