U.S. Soldier Killed in Ambush in Iraq
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) --
A U.S. military patrol was ambushed by small arms fire, killing one
soldier, the military said Thursday, as forces hunted down members of
the Iraqi insurgency that continues to claim American lives.
North of the capital, U.S. forces encircled the town of Samarra, 60
miles north of Baghdad, as part of a major raid on the area.
Troops smashed down the gates of homes and the doors of workshops and
junkyards there Wednesday in an effort to quash the violence that has
persisted since Saddam Hussein was captured last week.

Harry

From what I am hearing Harry most of them so called "Dead Enders" and
"Terrorist Fighters"they keep telling us that they are arresting in
them raids (or killing outright) in those catch phrase raids they
seems to roll out twice a month (or three times a month if Dubyas poll
numbers start sinking faster than expected) now are in fact (for the
most part) nothing more than Common Criminals who they pickup and or
kill in raids after the real killers have long fled the
ambush/attack/raid!
Because you see thanks to our invasion and the installation of an
Iraqi police force that is so corrupt (that they are likely worse than
the criminals they are supposed to catch if in fact they are not the
criminals themselves) the country is now so infested with criminals
that in fact it is very likely the countries only "Growth Industry"!
