DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who
was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Staff Sgt. Joshua P. Mattero, 29, of San Diego, died July 24 in
Baqubah, Iraq, of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device.
He was assigned to the 749th Ordnance Company, 63rd Explosive Ordnance
Battalion, Andrews Air Force Base, Md.
