Tim Crowley and Sanders Kaufman are "Cafe Liberals". What is a "CafeLiberal"?? |
Rush Limbaugh describes a "Cafe Liberal" as a white person who lives
in a nice, safe, white neighborhood yet enthusiastically supports the
"joys of multiculturalism". The only reason Cafe Liberals "love"
multiculturalism is because:
- they enjoy eating at ethnic restaurants and sampling such "exotic"
foods
- they enjoy occasionally attending ethnic festivals/ethnic art
exhibits
- they enjoy traveling to far away exotic lands whilst collecting odd
nicknacks from such lands and proudly displaying them in their
homes... as trophies which establish their "love" of various cultures
to their friends and associates who visit their homes
But to actually live in a non-white, ethnic neighborhood????? NO!
Never! Cafe Liberals understand very well that such neighborhoods are
dangerous, the schools are a disaster, gangs roam the streets, etc.
