BW, give it up. Leftists are notorious for denying their own beliefs
and positions. I would, too, if I believed such moronic things.
Whereas conservatives accept without argument certain
characterizations of their politics, such as favoring low taxes,
opposition to affirmative action, opposition to illegal immigration,
dealing harshly with terrorists and so forth, liberals will routinely
deny even the most obvious of generalities concerning the way they
think and the positions they typically hold.
They will argue about the time of day and deny that they believe
anything. In this manner they can say it's the "other guy" who
believes this nonsense, not them. Yep, Martians are voting for all
these things which are bringing this country to its knees. Democrats
are all voting the same way as republicans and the liberal Martians
are getting the upper hand. Just ask them!

I see your point Blutak. but the only point i was trying to make is that
nowadays people can't survive without money. sometimes it takes years for
an artist to be discovered. so in a way, today's art (modern art) would not
exsist without government funding, because most artist would either starve,
or get a job as an assembly line worker before they could be discovered.

Which raises an important point - Liberals seem to think would-be "artists"
are somehow ENTITLED to be subsidized by the taxpayer until they are
"discovered". Do Liberals similarly think would-be conservative talkshow
hosts should be subsidized by the taxpayer until they are discovered and
develop a supporting audience? No.
Thus we see, once again, the stupidity of the Liberal - he or she wants to
burden the taxpayer to support SOME people (would-be "artists", for example)
while at the same time denying taxpayer funding for would-be conservative

Nonsense. Liberals haven't "preserved" one single piece of "art", nor have
conservatives used one single piece of art for toilet tissue.
No, Liberals merely think that unless taxpayers are forced to fund would-be

by events outside of the control of people on this earth and by

warming, then we have to control what we can control--in other words,

I'm against capital punishment. To be honest, Rush made a great point
one time. He said, "We don't have capital punishment in this country."

are kill crazy and other aren't. It makes no sense. So, I'm opposed
to capital punishment in its current form.
I'm personally opposed to abortion. However, the federal government
(or any government) should not tell a woman what to do with her body.

Both are compensated adquately for their skills. Trial lawyers make money
off the system--thus, they are about an example of conservative

and try to make a little more sense. Global warming is affected
by events outside of the control of people on this earth and by
Yuppies driving SUVs. If the world is going to try to reduce global
warming, then we have to control what we can control--in other words,
we have to control the Yuppies driving SUVs.

Gender roles are not artificial. However, each person should be able
to puruse his/her life in a manner constrained by his/her abilities rather
than their gender/sexual orientation.
Is 'being gay' natural? Again, I don't understand how you are using

I don't get your point. Business is the best way to generate wealth.
Government is one of the worst. Unfortunately, some parts of our social
fabric must be regulated by the government.

have self-esteem until he/she earns it? If so, then a 4 year

The NRA stands up for a dubious interpretation of one clause of
the constitution. The ACLU has a broader scope. To be honest, I'm not
crazy about either organization.

Are standardized test racist? No. Are racial set-asides racist? No.
