What makes you think these charges will be dismissed? DeLay is likely to be
convicted. They're not "politically motivated" at all. That's a lame smear
by his defenders who want people not to notice that the DA in question has
prosecuted Democrats AND Republicans.
It's all over for DeLay. He probably won't even win re-election this fall.

Seeing how DA Ronnie Earl went grand jury shopping and that one of the

(meaning GOPers, you liberal butt-boyz have no brains)!

Ronnie Earl is just borrowing from the Republican play book. Didn't Kenneth
Starr go on a witch hunt to find ANYTHING he could use to attack the
Clintons, even though he was hired to investigated Whitewater, on which the
Clintons were cleared of any wrongdoing? Didn't Jesse Helms and Lauch
Faircloth go "prosecutor shopping" to make sure Starr replaced the
previously appointed special prosecutor, going to a judge whose wife worked
in Faicloth's office?
Now *that's* politically motivated.
As for your laughable claim that DeLay is charged with an ex post facto
crime (look it up), the judges who have reviewed DeLay's challenges
obviously feel otherwise. Who to believe, someone who actually knows the
facts and law in the case, or a dimwitted anonymous apologist for the
GOPhers?
You lose boy.

It's all over for DeLay. He probably won't even win re-election this
fall.

Notice you have no answer for that. Given that his Republican primary
opponents are refusing to endorse him and DeLay screwed up his own safe
district with his illegal gerrymandering, he doesn't stand a chance. Maybe
he could get Bush to come campaign for him, and bring Jack Abramoff along?

Remember, the charges right now are very serious, real live felonies and

Even if the charges were politically motivated, so what? Republicans
have been only too happy to bring politically motivated charges, and
special prosecutors to bear on their opponents. Your gang wrote the
rules of this game. It's too late to whine now.
