Evangelist admits meth, massage, no sex
By CATHERINE TSAI Associated Press Writer
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. --
Evangelist Ted Haggard admitted Friday that he bought methamphetamine
and received a massage from a gay prostitute who claims he was paid
for drug-fueled trysts by the outspoken gay marriage opponent.
Haggard resigned Thursday as president of the National Association of
Evangelicals and stepped down as leader of his Colorado megachurch
while the two groups investigate the allegations.
Talking to reporters outside his house Friday, Haggard denied the sex
allegations but said that he did buy meth from the man because he was
curious.
"I bought it for myself but never used it," he said.
"I was tempted, but I never used it."
Haggard, a married father of five, said he never had sex with Mike
Jones, a 49-year-old male prostitute who sparked the scandal when he
told a radio station he had had a three-year sexual relationship with
the minister.
He said he did get a massage from Jones after being referred to him by
a Denver hotel.

Massage? Well, that's another way of putting it. Homosexual intercourse
technically isn't sex...
The guy is still a fucking Rightard liar. "I bought meth but I didn't
use it." eighteen times.... There must be quite a bit of meth in his
house.

You forget one thing that makes some folks more vile pieces of crap than
others. The hypocrisy factor. The Evangelicals preach and screech about the
unnaturalness and ungodliness of it all to their flock of sheep. The same
flock that rallied around Bush's pandering to their perhaps greatest fear;
e.g., gay marriage. Bush made a bogus commitment to "work hard" for a
Constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage and rubbed elbows and who knows
what else with droves of them. Regardless of what pieces of crap exist
amongs other groups, this particular piece of crap has hoodwinked
millions...and bilked them out of millions...on the premise that his way was
*the* way. Little did they know his way was both ways...

My comparrison had more to do with how the appearance may change but a
piece of crap remains a piece of crap and their MOs remain consistent
as do the lies they tell..
Making the lame blanket statement implying that since he professes to

simple minded and quite frankly childish. Do you agree with those
that say that because most Arab terrorists are Muslim that all Muslims
are terrorists? Do you believe that since there have been several
school teachers caught having sex with underage students in recent
months that all teachers must therefore be child molesters?
In this case you have one televangelist that you believe represents
any and all that profess a similar belief system.
Surely you can do better.

My comparrison had more to do with how the appearance may change but a
piece of crap remains a piece of crap and their MOs remain consistent
as do the lies they tell..

Like perhaps this lie tossed last August when Bush was asked, and had
repeated the question as to what did Iraq have to do with the attack
on the World Trade Center (aka 9/11), and when in some state of
tardive dyskinesia witlessly replied, " Nothing." Or what about when
he declares that, " it was never stay the course" to Stephanopolous?
'Lies?' Please address these two compelling matters.

Making the lame blanket statement implying that since he professes to
be of a particular faith then he represents all of that faith is simple minded
and quite frankly childish.

The idiot-logic take and swipe at Clinton's "I did not have sex with
that woman . . . Monica Lewinski," is hilariously far all too telling.

Do you agree with those that say that because most Arab terrorists are
Muslim that all Muslims are terrorists? Do you believe that since there
have been several school teachers caught having sex with underage
students in recent months that all teachers must therefore be child
molesters?

No. In fact what you cited, in a drunken stab at some twisted form of
moral relativism, is nothing but sheer bigotry. And the same sort of
individual(s) who would continue to use the term "Islamo-Fascists."

In this case you have one televangelist that you believe represents
any and all that profess a similar belief system. Surely you can do better.

He's the head of the largest Evangelical faction of the a Christian
denomination (cit. David Kuo - 'Tempting Faith'), and who frequents
the Whitehouse and has a direct conduit and spiritual counsel to
George W. Bush. No. It is one who could do better in framing an
opinion without tendering the standard duplicitous rebut. But of
course you really need to do 'better' than tossing Clinton into this,
in this on-going investigation over the Whitehouse Secret Service logs
to ascertain if in fact that Jeff Gannon was present at this closed
door energy conference thrown by Bush and Cheney themselves.
