TIKRIT, Iraq –
Three Task Force Lightning Soldiers died as a result of injuries
sustained from an explosion near their vehicle while conducting
operations in Ninewah Province, Monday.
One other Soldier was injured during the incident and was transported
to a Coalition medical facility for treatment.

BAGHDAD —
A Multi-National Division-Baghdad Soldier was attacked during combat
operations in a western section of the Iraqi capital Aug. 13.
The deceased Soldier’s name is being withheld pending notification of
next of kin and release by the Department of Defense.
