Turki al-Faisal Awarded Damages for Claim He Was Behind 9/11 |
http://news.scotsman.com/latest.cfm?id=3848500
Prince Turki was head of the Saudi security service from 1977 until his
resignation on Sept. 2, 2001. He was a primary contact man between the
US and the mujahedin in Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation.
French journalist Ricahrd Labeviere claims that he continued to act as
a go-between for the CIA and the "Arab Afghans" (aka al-Qaeda) during
the 1990s, only "ending his role" on Aug. 31, 2001 -- two days before
he resigned, and 11 days before 9/11.

The London High Court, in its infinite wisdom, has awarded
"substantial" damages against Paris Match for claiming that Faisal (now
ambassador to the UK) was directly responsible for the attacks.
Perhaps they can do the same for Osama bin Laden, if he brings a case
against the US government.
