Two Innocent Americans Accused of Conspiracy With al-Qaida |
This is an outrage! These men are INNOCENT!
Bush and Ashcroft are spying on and picking perfectly law-abiding
Americans and CHARGING THEM!
This is a clear abuse of power on the part of the Executive branch of
government. It may not be technically illegal but it is VERY ABUSIVE
behavior by BUSH!
Contact your congressman and senator and tell them to support the
IMMEDIATE release of these innocent men. Don't let the neocons win!

Men Accused of Conspiring with al-Qaida Face First Court Appearance
Associated Press
Tuesday, May 31, 2005
Two Americans accused of trying to help al-Qaida are making their first
court appearances this morning.
A Florida doctor and a New York man are both charged with conspiracy to
support the terrorist group. Prosecutors say the men swore a formal
oath of loyalty to al-Qaida and promised to train the group in martial
arts and provide medical care.
The men face separate hearings, one in Florida and another in New York.
If convicted each faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a
top fine of $250,000.
The mother of one man says the charges are ridiculous and her son is
not a terrorist. The former wife of the other suspect describes him a
hardworking man and good father.

How the hell would you know if they're innocent?
