US Occupation Forces Support Afghan Narcotics Trade |
Professor Michel Chossudovsky says the occupation forces in
Afghanistan are supporting the drug trade which brings between 120 and
194 billion dollars of revenues to organized crime, intelligence
agencies and Western financial institutions annually. Almost the
totality of revenues accrue to corporate interests and criminal
syndicates outside Afghanistan. See

Why do you have an "illegal" drug trade? You have an "illegal" drug trade
because it is profitable to engage in such activity. It is profitable to
engage in such activity, because no legitimate company can produce and sell
the stuff. "If" a legitmate company could produce and sell the stuff, there
would be no illegal drug trade....they could not even begin to compete....
So, this professor is making the wrong argument.....
