Shi'ite leader Muqtada al-Sadr's militia has grown into a formidable
force - far too big for the US to engage directly. Indeed, it's more a
question of Muqtada holding back his men. There's likely an Iranian
hand in play: the occupation soldiers are virtual hostages against a US
attack on Iran.
