Voters report problems with voting machines in Roanoke Co.
Roanoke Co. voters report problems with voting machines
Election day voting is going on across the Old Dominion, but
everything has not gone smoothly in Roanoke County.
News 7 has received calls from several voters in at least four
different precincts who say their votes for Tim Kaine were not
recorded or took several attempts to go through.
They contend the electronic touch screens repeatedly indicated they
were voting for Republican candidate Jerry Kilgore instead of
registering their intended vote for his Democratic opponent Tim Kaine.
Roanoke Co. Registrar Judy Stokes says she doesn't want to say the
problem is operator error on the part of the voters, but she points
out the touch screens are sensitive.
She says anyone who is having difficulty voting should ask one of the
poll workers for assistance.
State election officials have been told of the problem.
They believe if there is a problem, it could have been caused by the
way the machines were stored.
The Kaine compaign is reportedly watching the situation in Roanoke
County.

Perhaps it has more to do with Bush & Co's visit there yesterday.

You moonbats are like a damn broken record. No one believes or cares about
your accusations anymore because you are constantly making them even when
there is no basis for making them.
It is part of the Democratic election playbook now to make sure to have some
of your supporters complain about voting problems so that you can try to get
recounts in areas that are heavily Democratic. The simple fact that you
engage in disingenuous tactics like that shows that you are just as corrupt
as any of the Republicans you complain about.
Last I heard Kaine won the election. Still want to have your pre-planned
recount?

Sex Feind You just beielve whetever you are told just like the reat of
you lef wing looney tunes, Ever think of doing a little reasearch on
yourown, I sincerely doubt it.
Here I'll give you a start:
This whole thing about Diebold/Ohio conspiracy flies in the face of the
facts:
A lot has been made about the quote by the Diebold CEO where he stated
that
he was "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the
president next year."
But, I stumbled across this column from Dennis Kucinich the other day
where
he stated: "Note that no Diebold electronic voting machines were
employed in
Ohio."
I was stunned by this statement. So much of the sound and fury about
Ohio
has been centered around the Diebold claims. Yet, apparently, Diebold
has no
machines there. So, I decided to check this out. Sure enough, according
to
this page (click on each county for vendor and manufacturer of each
county's
machines) at verifiedvoting.org, there were indeed no Diebold machines
in
Ohio for the 2004 election.
Only one county in Ohio used paperless touchscreens at all. And those
machines were not manufactured by Diebold
