MA - 15.2 [1 county missing data]
AL - 39.6 [3 counties missing data]
Number of Alert Days doesn't show how much Air Pollution is put up into the
Air.
Ozone - Weighted Average
MA - 72 [1 county missing data]
AL - 50 [9 counties missing data]
With so much missing data, the two states can't be compared according to
Ozone weight.
But what does amount of pollution between to two states have to do with
their Senators voting records on the environment?

Not sure why the air pollution is of interest, but I'll point out that
AL is almost exactly 5 times the size of MA. So the pollution per
square mile is significantly less than in MA. Of course, MA is more
industrial and has denser population, so that's to be expected.

What his question has to do with the miserable environmental voting record
of Alabama congressmen, I'd have no idea

but I'll point out that
AL is almost exactly 5 times the size of MA. So the pollution per
square mile is significantly less than in MA. Of course, MA is more
industrial and has denser population, so that's to be expected.

And since Mass is more industrial and has a larger population, it was
amazing to me to find out that Bama puts more tons of polution into the air
than Mass.
