Wal-Mart Critics Launch Christmas campaign |
Hoping to raise awareness and cut into Wal-Mart's holiday profits,
activists from Wake-Up Wal-Mart are launching a national campaign today
to highlight the company's deplorable labor practices and "anti-worker,
anti-family" policies. The details of the campaign, which will feature
"30-second television spots, print ads and online advertising and
postings to sites like YouTube and progressive political sites," will
be announced tonight on nationwide conference calls with Sen. Barack
Obama (D-IL) and former Sen. John Edwards (D-NC).
Wal-Mart recently imposed wage and salary caps on its 1.39 million
employees, despite promising not to in 2004, and has enacted more
draconian attendance policies. Wal-mart employees are regularly paid
poverty wages, are encouraged to sign up for Medicaid, shifting health
care costs to the taxpayers, and have been repeatedly accused of gender
discrimination and child labor violations.

Lefty K00K Union Assholes can't stand the fact that Wal-Mart does more for
the American middle class than ANY other public or private entity in this
country. What REALLY bothers these K00Ks is that the American people
**LOVE** Wal-Mart and they prove it by ***VOTING WITH THEIR DOLLARS***
Wal-mart proves that a market based economy can bring HIGH quality goods, at
rock bottom prices to working people. Wal-Mart does more to improve the
standard of living in America than any lefty ***** unions fucks can or
ever have. So all you greenie unions assholes can just ***** and die you
anti-american, anti-working people fucks.
